This peaceful site is an ideal base from which to explore the most beautiful parts of this region with its friendly and easy-going inhabitants. 

   The numerous mediaeval villages - some of them fortified - expire an atmosphere of peace and authenticity. The magnificent homes, the intimate alleyways, the castles and the ruins turn a stroll through such a village into a little journey in former times.

  Rivers with their 'gorges' and rapids offer plenty of possibilities to go in for sports: rent a canoe or kayak, climbing, mountain biking and fishing are some examples. Nicely marked out footpaths and cycling-tracks are present and numerous.

   Strolling quietly on country markets, savouring regional delicacies, tasting wine at a château, having a drink on a pavement, savouring home-made produces at a farm-house: just some ways to explore the practices and culinary customs of this beautiful region.

  The magnificient cities Montauban and Toulouse, the many museums and other sights which are to be reached easily from our little village turn a holiday on camping site La Bouriasse into a culture trip.
